Sunny Summer Collagen Ice Cream

 

Summer is in full effect and no summer is complete without a guilt-free serving of some ice cream. I’m not talking about the “low sugar” ice cream from the grocery store – I’m talking about some good ol' homemade ice cream, with functional ingredients and exceptional taste. 

Let’s get started with “Operation Sunny Summer Collagen Ice Cream.”


NEED:

1 cup sour cream
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop PuraVida Naturals collagen powder
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ teaspoon stevia
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract


STEPS:

1. Blend sour cream, almond milk, PuraVida  Naturals collagen powder, lemon juice, stevia and vanilla until smooth.

2. Transfer the mixture into 4 small containers and freeze.
